Your project, our job: together towards cleaner power!

  • Stand-alone site: You are not connected to the national (EDF) utilities grid and want to become more self-sufficient.

  • Already connected to the national grid: you would like to reduce your electricity bill, make an investment, produce sustainable energy…

  • You are a mechanics lover: you are nostalgic for the wind pumps of yesteryear.

  • Understanding, Teaching, Creating Awareness: you have an educational project.
  • Private individuals, get your tax credit! Provided that the turbine is installed by professionals and that the site in question is your main home. For more information, download the document: Tax credit, how does it work?

  • Farmers and smallholders, join us in the project “Moissonneurs du vent” (“Reapers of the wind”). For more information, download the document: Reapers of the wind.

  • The purchasing of renewable energy threatened by the ZDEs as from the 14th of July 2007. Sign the petition!
For information, the problem is this: by the 14th of July 2007, every French département (county) must have delimited so-called ZDEs (zones de développement de l’éolien or ‘Wind Power Development Zones’), outside of which the installation of wind farms will not be permitted. As no distinction has been made between small and "big" wind turbines, small wind turbines will be affected by this measure inasmuch as the D.R.I.R.E. (Regional Services for Industry, Research and the Environment) will thenceforth not deliver any obligation-to-purchase certificates outside of these zones. This means that private individuals will not be able to sell either the totality or the excess of the energy they produce. Given that, without subsidies, small wind turbines are not easily financially viable as it is, this measure will dissuade clients from investing in cleaner energy.
  • News about Reapers of the Wind (Moissonneurs du Vent): As of today we have 145 participants; we have visited about 80 sites; we have submitted 35 and obtained 10 building permits, for heights of 24m and 30m! We have also installed a 20kW Westwind in Lozère as a pilot project and the first Jimp 20 Plus wind turbine will be installed in Aude in December 2007.

  • 25% of your investment subsidized! Languedoc-Roussillon is the first region in France to introduce a subsidy for small grid-tied wind turbines – more proof that the region is dedicated to the promotion of renewables. The subsidy depends on the elaboration of a system of performance monitoring with wind measurements; the maximum total investment has been fixed at 60 000 €. Contact us for help with the paperwork.

  • In the Rhône-Alpes region, stand-alone sites can profit from a 30% subsidy on a small wind turbine purchase. Subsidies for grid-tied systems are now also available. Get in touch with the Region at www.rhonealpes.fr
